A Time Traveller has been discovered in a Charlie Chaplin film...a woman walking along the street in a 1930's film talking on a mobile phone !!

I am sceptical about this. But in real terms the 1927 is the year for Space Tourism ( discovery in 1927 of the theory of relativity published by Einstein ) so 1928 would be a good time to have a visit by an advanced race or time traveller......

This isn't something to be "sceptical" about, Anyone who believes this is really a woman using a mobile telephone is the sort of idiot who will believe *anything* they see on the internet. Suspending disbelief just for a moment, let's accept that it is what it appears to be. But who's she talking to? A fellow time traveler? And who has provided the network needed to place the call in the first place?
That this story is of any interest to people doesn't surprise me. The net is full of people too fucking stupid to own a computer and use it intelligently.

Theres some speculation that what this person is using is a hearing aid and one similar to a mobile phone in shape was available from 1925. However it does seem odd that this person is speaking into the device and smiling, as if he/she is talking to someone and also turns and gives the camera a stare at the end, which is also odd.

Why would a Time Traveller need a network if they were speaking to people back home via the network on their tourist spaceship ? DOH!

I think she is just shielding her face - but why is she talking ? that could be she is insane....

Of course the film footage could be a hoax ?

I somehow dont see Time Travellers appearing in films unless that is part of their "fun".
