Only soldiers in WW1 and WW2 should be remembered they was forced to go into battle by the government.

All these soldiers today go in for the glamour of the uniform and kill. Always puzzled me that a man can go to jail for murder but not get disiplined when in the Army.

My father and both grandfathers fought in the two world wars.
Many good and decent people were forced into this, and risked their lives in the process.

I think JK your anger should be aimed at the evil politicians who create the mess rather than the working population who have to risk their lives to get us out of their mess.

... and they're all dead !!

... and come out mentally deranged !

(Does anyone have figures on the number needing psychiatric treatment after the Army ?)

I think that's a very good point. They have ads now for the Army that suggest anyone who has an 'ordinary' job is some kind of boring coward. I'm quite bemused that goes without criticism. I'll wear a poppy for all the poor terrified teenagers who were forced into war in the 1910s and 1940s.

My Jobcentre gave me leaflets about siging up it's all glossy pages and wages are in bold capital letters, Jobcentres have posters and opening days.

I was giving a 5 minute briefing in what I gain after I done my time in the Amry but not much detail what happens when I sign up.

I looked at my advisor and said NO.
