A couple of years ago, when researching the phenomenon of UFOs, I came across this video.
When NASA began the Space Shuttle programme, it was standard procedure to beam the video downlink back to earth on an unencrypted channel.
Martin Stubbs, a cable TV station manager from Vancouver, discovered this, and, using the equipment at his place of work, he captured and recorded these images, resulting in numerous videos making it into the public domain.
One of these films, from Columbia’s mission STS-80, appears to show a number of objects appear below Columbia, and then move into formation directly beneath the shuttle. This is the link above...
Of course, NASA came up with all kinds of reasons for these anomalies, the favourite one being ice crystals on the camera lense.
Now, Story Musgrave, one of the astronauts onboard shuttle mission STS-80, has admitted that UFO’s are real. He said that on the mission, a light-emitting, disc-shaped object appeared below the shuttle. It wasn’t a fleeting glimpse. He and the crew watched the object for some time.
Musgrave is not the first NASA astronaut to claim that UFOs are real. Buzz Aldrin has, on many occasions, stated that whilst on the Apollo 11 mission, he and the rest of the crew observed an L-shaped object travelling alongside their spacecraft.
When debunking UFO sightings, a common strategy is to discredit the witness (they’re crazy, they’re lying, they need glasses etc...).
That’s not so easy to do when the witnesses are NASA’s very own astronauts.
