Those of us who have always liked Jo Brand are delighted others are starting to come around. She was a terrific Have I Got News host.

Jo Brand is also wonderful in "Getting On" on BBC4 on Tuesday. Best comedy on telly for ages.

It's been fascinating to see her develop as a performer. I remember her when she started as 'The Sea Monster,' when she had very good material but her delivery was incredibly mannered. Then she slowly relaxed and sort of 'grew' into a plausible persona.

I can't stand Jo Brand, she showed what a muppet she was by complaining about Carol Thatcher when she was on the One Show. Jo is allowed to make disgusting jokes but no-one else it seems...
