One of the hidden pleasures of prison 13 Years, 5 Months ago

- as the Chandlers will be finding - is that the lack of many things gives you far more pleasure when you then get them again; prime examples, for me, were avocados and Clamato Juice, neither available inside and absolutely delicious when, after 3 and a half years without, I eventually ate and drank them again.

The freedom of being able to go out whenever you feel like it... going to sleep behind a door that wasn't locked, real coffee {without which I genuinely am subhuman scum...} and - this is a weird one I only just remembered - the sheer luxury of having just a few coins in your pocket.
