Worrying times for DAVE

"What happened to the "bonfire of the Quango's?
Why do we need a Local Government Association with all it's attended costs?
It's not rocket science to understand that these non jobs are ripe for axing in order to save the country a lot of money.
I'm a Tory voter but have to express dismay & disappointment with DC, NC & GO who promised so much but after 6 months they have forgotten what they were elected for and now appear to have settled into the comfortable, insulated atmosphere of power.
They have made more U turns on policies in 6 months then Mrs T ever made in her long years in power and it is sickening to behold.
When will this once great country ever have a government with steel in it's spine?"

It;s pretty clear now-the Tories ( and Lib Dems) did not win on merit...Nu Labour lost.

Did you really think the Tories would be any different to Nu Labour ??

It's quite fascinating watching British politics which are now similar to so many other countries with parties that have moved to a sort of centrist right position.

This will be a one term party. And the Lib Dems are doomed !
