Cameron bows to media pressure instead of saying "why don't you all piss off and let us run the country?". If Lord Young was any good he should still be employed; his statement (probably accurate actually) was not offensive; for god's sake let us stop allowing "it's a good story" to run society.

It's completely bizarre. The public criticism of him was over the top anyway (who the hell expects peers to be sane anyway?), but you'd think the bloke had said, well, 'Let's bomb Russia'. (Poor old Kenny would have been exterminated had he been around to say that these days.) The tabloids would be on sturdier ground if they just attacked privileged toffs en masse, but the royal Norfolk tribute act that is Baldy/Toothy William and his empty-headed seed breeder get away scot-free.

Because we all (most) have electricty, gas, health care, good roads, cars, jobs, holidays abroad, homes, education and total freedom.

I have predicted-Cameron will be a one term government and the Lib Dems destroyed forever as an alternative party. They are utterley inexperienced and have shown that they are led by the nose by the media.

the general public would applaud an old style politican who stands up to the media and for what he/she believes in...the time is right for someone to arise and take advantage of that.

Totally agreed Veritas. We have gone from a lawyer running the country in Blair to Cameron, a marketing man, spitting on a pair of knackered leather shoes in an attempt to make them shiny.
