do you really like watching people stick bloody great big spiders in their mouths ?...weird..says a lot about the viewers

(actually those big spiders are harmless..the small ones are the deadly ones)

One thing that's intriguing me about this show: it has actually become Big Brother by stealth. The producers have pretty much ditched the idea that you edit 'normal' interaction to make up the bulk of the show, and instead have resorted to Big Brother-style pranks and secret challenges. Someone told me that several ex-BB programme makers have moved on to this show, which, if true, makes sense of what's happening. It's become very, very, forced and tired.
