As promised I would pop back in from time to time - I am in court almost permanently as well since the beginning of December....same problems as Julian Assange but luckily I was not turned down bail but I am under "house arrest" for the time being.

and see that this is exactly how I was treated by the system back at the end of February. Many of you said that being denied access to legal teams and being locked up 24/7 without phone calls - etc etc does not happen but it does and now you can see for yourself that this is how the UK Courts system works.

I still read the forum every day and am really enjoying the posts by everyone. So please keep posting lots of stuff because this forum is still the best for a wide and incisive range of opinions on the World and Media and Music anywhere in the World. If they can get away with this with a high profile prisoner like Assange pity the poor unknown.

The entire bail situation has been odd; I went through it myself and my bail bond friends had a dreadful time (the police try to intimidate them) but I had no difficulty remaining at liberty until my trial. However I was locked up before my second trial which makes developing a defence incredibly difficult (part of the point - why should justice make it hard to defend yourself?). I was of course acquitted in the second trial - something the media avoided mentioning.

The entire prosecution stinks to high heaven. Time to sort out our species.

This reminds me of that time when Richard Madeley told Bill Clinton he could understand how he'd felt during his impeachment investigation because he, too, had suffered during his trial after being caught taking some sausages from Tesco.
