The entire incident is bizarre and the CPS are looking as ghastly as usual (a truly corrupt, bent, lazy and useless organisation).

It is society and the human race in the 21st Century that stinks. Yes, there are some good aspects but the bad ones have eclipsed them and I truly believe we are witnessing the end of our species - within 40 years, slowly and not with a bang but through creeping self combustion.
