Some of us cannot stand Pamela (never met her so not fair; based on media appearances, particularly her psychiatry stuff) though we adore Billy and can't quite understand their marriage; I reckon Matt is the winner.

I couldn't agree more. This kind of lethally unfunny 'routine' is why I've never been able to stand 'Dr' Stephenson:

It was interesting, too, to hear Mel Smith say recently how much he disliked her when the two of them did Not the Nine O'Clock News. 'She couldn't even bother to ever remember my wife's name,' he said, 'even though she's called Pamela, too!'

Matt to win.

I have to disagree with both of you, I think Pamela is great. To be competing for the final of strictly come dancing at 61 (older than Matt and Cara put together) is amazing. She is an inspiration to older people, who often appear to be invisible.
How much she is enjoying it comes across on tv and it is very enjoyable to watch.
That said I think anyone of them would be a worthy winner, I think Matt will be the favourite, simply because more women watch and thus will vote for the one they fancy.

Thanks largely to Widdy this has been a very good series, but I think the producer is shocking. The stupid gimmicks, from the glitter rugby balls to tonight's hideous 'boxing' entrance, seem designed to appeal to idiot 14 year olds, and the Sunday show is a shameful bit of filler. I also wish the director would realise that there are two ways to create movement on TV - one is to show things moving, the other is to move the camera - and you don't need to always do both at the same time. As it's a dancing programme, it's a good idea to show the dances, rather than render most of them impossible to judge seriously due to insane cutting and silly camera tricks.

She was fabulous. The pro dancer with Matt let him down with her choreography, but Kara really blossomed in the final few weeks. All I know about her is that her sister played the new love interest in the recent series of The Inbetweeners.

Pamela got the most votes from the "Experts", but was the first to be eliminated. Go figure.

It's about time that this sort of show was taken out of the hands of the masses, who on the whole no nothing about ballroom dancing. I know it wouldn't make as much money, but then bbc shows shouldn't be about making money.

I thought the judges over-marked her quite consistently, and that was what worked against her.
