The police behaviour simply doesn't ring true; it reeks of "we have to charge someone" - far too long questioning; far too slow a charge. And we all know that this is the way (Barry George) the police method often works.

I haven't got the faintest idea whether the Dutchman is innocent or guilty - but the fact (as JK stated) that he had been questioned for the entire first period of detention, and to within minutes of the first extra period of detention expiring, it does not look good !

Add in the fact that only a couple of weeks ago the police seemed fairly convinced that it was someone else entirely .............. !!!

I read that some saliva was found on her body. If this was checked for DNA and an immediate match was made with the DNA of the arrested man then wouldn't they have charged him much sooner and not taken interrogation right up to the wire?

DNA can be fabricated, scientists show ....

DNA can never be relied upon, says scientist -

Would YOU trust your personal sensitive data
to an organisation that has already LOST the
personal data of HALF of the UK population (25 million people !)?

Is the Landlord still on bail? Or are they implicating them both?

truly a double edged sword this DNA business.

saved a lot of innocent people but I see room for corruption.

I'm very mindful of the Jeremy Bamber case and how the DNA could have been disastrously corrupted and helped convict him

I have a real gut feeling about this but that could be a bad prawn from the barbie.

He should sue the buggery out of them but will probably want to just hide away in relief..which will be the expected result.

I will never forget a case I was involved in Knighstbridge Court 25 years ago where an appeal court found for my friend charged with obstruction.

The lying hound of a copper said outside the court.."oh the police..we are never right"..and I said
"but you were wrong..you lied through you teeth !"

he replied.."oh yes ..we are always wrong"..and I said "but you were..you lied and the judges knew it "...like a bloody ping pong match..madness

Why has it taken almost 2 months to release him from bail - when they charged someone else?
