TOPIC: Mail on Sunday on drugs
#67275
Mail on Sunday on drugs 13 Years, 3 Months ago
Whilst I don't like the blanket condemnation of drug taking and have many friends who are perfectly normal but also addicted to ghastly substances like nicotine, alcohol and cannabis, I think everyone should read the Mail on Sunday story today.

Habitual smoking of cannabis CAN (not always - not even often) lead to minor or even major mental problems.

Virtually every false accuser in my case was not just addicted to large compensation cash sums (and media fees) but to some kind of drugs and the effects of cannabis - at the very least making people recollect facts inaccurately ; at worst, total invention - could be seen and described in almost every statement.

Paranoid schizophrenics can easily persuade themselves that a very happy relationship 25 years ago was not as happy as they felt at the time.

One of my accusers admitted in court that cats spoke to him in English and in detail.

Drugs can have very unexpected and frightening effects which sometimes take years to emerge or develop.

A quote from the piece...

"Three-quarters of consumers may take cannabis with no ill effect but the remaining quarter, the genetically vulnerable, play Russian roulette."
