He's such a charmer and we've spent some time together - I've even met his Irish family - we did two Eurovisions in Ireland, including winning in 1997.

Good bloke - and program, made a while ago.

But Ireland's economy is now in absolutely dire straits with its Taoiseach (PM) - Brian Cowan - hanging on by a thread this week.

The coalition goverment led by Cowan fell apart today.

In the country's 88 year history, nothing like this has happened before - Greece comes close.

The P I G S are weakening and falling - Portugal and Spain next!

He re-edited the programmes in the light of the economic problems, that's why it's been delayed.

I found it very disappointing - it was neither one thing nor the other !

I kept thinking "What is the point of this?" all the way through .... shall not bother with Pt 2.

How ironic that he does a programme on Ireland, seeing as the man never lends his name to or supports Irish events or causes (he refuses to). Times must be hard for him.

I guess that's apart from the several Irish charities he continues to support, including the Ireland Fund in Great Britain.
