I watch a DVD of Only Fools and Horses and i'm, not sure if I seen them all too many times or the jokes don't stand up anymore. John Sullivan is a genius script writer with Dear John Citizen Smith etc.

Or maybe I love Minder and Arthur Daley was the original loveable rogue trader with little morals and John Sullivan admits that he got some of his character ideas from Minder and loosely based Del Trotter from the Daley Character.

I spoken to some people who now bored of OFAH with endless repeats on BBC and Gold and said he needs a rest.

I like to hear what other people think ?

Only Fools WAS great up til about 1991, since then we've had none-stop repeats of the old shows and more absurd "feature length" episodes... I agree, its gone beyond saturation and should be taken off screen for a few years. I was pleasantly suprised by the Rock & Chips prequel and how refreshingly different it is to Only Fools.

I agree the last 6 feature lenghts of OFAH were ridiculous and Trigger running gags became tedious and dire. Miami Twice was soething for a 1940's fast comedy something like Frank Capra would do.

All the best sitcoms were never repeated such as Dear John, Ever Decresing Circles, The Squireals and Agony which featured a non-camp gay couple ever to be seen on T.V very revolutionaty.

Its NOT compulsory to watch, ya know !

Personally have never watched anything twice - life is too short.
