And a very odd one it was too; last week's was superb; this week's odd (the Dutch Ambassador); two weeks ago (Soldier affected by killing people) ghastly.

And could you keep up with all the twists and turns in the plot - pistols being used, swapped and moved; the police bodyguard boyfriend keeping quiet about what happened; the twist with the Ambassador's brother being a go-between for MI6 and the new pathologist from the private sector being in on it with the Chief Inspector of police to cover it all up by messing-up the DNA records.....not to mention the absurdity of carrying the dead boy's body across Hampstead Heath in broad daylight whilst covered in blood to bury him beneath a tree from which the drug addicted, self-harming ex-au pair later hung herself through guilt. I doubt very much the Hampstead Heath is ever empty of people at any time of the day!

Please tell me if I got some of the details confused as I do find it hard most of the time to piece together all the bits in these murder mysteries. Please tell me I'm not alone in being like this!

It's not your fault. The story didn't make much sense (why did Klara go on a shooting spree after killing her uncle?). And why did they (the director / camera man) show the baby bump of Emilia Fox in the last scene after trying to hide the pregnancy previously? Will Nikki be a single mother in the next series?

Good point - now you come to mention it I did see the bump right at the end. I also think she's got the hots for Harry too! Is Emilia pregnant in real life.

As for Klara going on a shooting spree all I can say is that the stress of living with such a dark secret all those years had taken its toll on her mind (she had been self-harming just like the ex-au pair) and finally lost it shooting everyone in sight. The is a classic example of writers wanting to test our IQs; painting implausable scenarios; then making plot errors with all the twists and turns as they struggle to keep track of what is meant to be goinge on themselves.

In spite of her facial ugliness I still find Emilia very attractive though.....
