Meanwhile, the producer has been suspended over racial comments -

It's a bit late for ITV to find this a problem - I don't recall any ethnic minorities in Midsomer in all the years I've seen it, so I guess ITV only objects if someone points it out.

I think it only became a "problem" when producer Brian True-may voiced these comments recently.

Midsommer has more problems than a lack of coloured faces...3 people a week get murdered !!
