Well deserved and we tend to forget, as he nears 90, how dishy he was for the then very beautiful Elizabeth.

Just living is a full time job at 90; believe me, I know - it's exhausting at 66!

Everytime i see his face i think "Spitting image." How has he still got hair?? Its been receding since he met Liz.

he tells terrible jokes that really are very funny in a dreaful way.

He's an institution..you would miss him if he wasn't there.

Mind you there was one hillarious time when he toured a factory about 40 years ago and was introduced to a union convenor and said "you'd be the one who doesn't work" and the unionsist replied "well you should know"

he wasn't 'Oldie of The Year'..he was 'Consort of The Year'

The Australian National Living Treasure Dame Edna was 'Oldie of The Year" !!!
