Over the past few hours our Libya thread has had 650 views - but strongly beaten by our Ken Dodd thread with 1,235

You say that nearly 2000 views were posted on these two threads!

Very hard to believe - bearing in mind that my meaningless contributions (unlike your self-centered ones) always appear.

Despite what names, IPs, proxies, hold links etc. - I use!!

Views dear; not posts.
A picnic short of a few sandwiches.

Shock, horror, outrage: someone (in)famous has used a very old Anglo-Saxon expletive to get the public's attention. Of course Ken, you know that I was the one who started doing that way back in 1977 with the Nevermind the Bol**£$s LP.

You old plagiarist you!

Yes; there are lot of those on here; hence, the high number of 'views'

Like, VP, the curiousity factor is the main ingredient, not the content...

I guess views might have gone up because of JK's recent appearance in the media over the EU ruling.

Actually, I find this one of the few places on the internet that helps keep me sane.

I suppose some curious, brainwashed souls might find some of the undeniable truths we state here to cause painful, but addictive cognitive dissonance in their tiny minds.

Such as that the anti-pedo crusading Sun rescued itself from closure through publishing topless pics of children in the 70's and 80's. Next time you hear a working class man over 40 say that all pedos should be tortured to death, just remember that he probably once liked nothing better than to stare at the naked breasts of children in the Current Bun whilst eating his breakfast, just like millions of other British men. Or that Tony Bliar likes nothing better than hanging out with paedophile child molestors and genocidal dictators. Yes, the world is certainly a sandwhich short of a picnic at this time.

On a side note, has BR dissapeared again?

And as an update - Ken Dodd's thread roars ahead still but the Libya one has been overtaken by a late runner from the back - THIS one with over 800 views!

Yes, I agree; there are many typos and grammatical contortions on display in some of the postings on this site - mine included. It could be the embarrassment factor at work here; you know, people visiting certain places on the internet they'd never own up to publicly, franctically typing their comments without even pausing for thought in case the wife or work colleague should take a glance at their screen!

I hope you forgive me Malcolm...I was the one back in '81 who delivered a letter from your landlord in Denmark Street and you hid behind the desk.

It was just a letter about some renovations but you thought it was an eviction notice. I've dined out on the day I made McLaren cower in fear !
