In fact france just announced more nuclear power.
Would be nice though if more real research went into alternatives,you get the feeling lip service is being paid here.

Nah ! They are cleverer than that !
They don;t give in to the hype and doom-sayers (like the Scots apparently do !)

btw -
I note that we (in the Capital Country) have had far less rainfall than usual this spring - I like that.
The Scots, however have had 122% or normal rainfall (I like that too).
Can you process the extra rainfall and return it to us as Scottish wine, please ?

A tad vindictive? We already sell our pure filtered water to you lot. Once the wind snd wave farms are up and running we may even sell you some of our electricity but that may be unpatriotic given the amount of revenue our oil generates for Westminster. Crap weather has its benefits.
