Grand National... 13 Years, 1 Month ago

My friend Deniz's favourite week of the year (he's 82)... last year he insisted I bet so I put a little on Don't Push It (second Hedgehoppers song was Don't Push Me) and I won a fortune.

Which means I don't stand a hope in hell of winning this year.

But how could I resist a horse with Oscar in its name ridden by the son of my Cambridge friend's brother?

I'm not a serious gambler Dixie (music is my "safe bet") so I'm not really interested in anything other than Win or Lose.
