Alec Ferguson's nose 13 Years ago  
I am becoming increasingly disturbed by this; it implies too much alcohol consumption. I can never understand how drinkers can tolerate those scarlet, blue, throbbing, swollen noses. They look so painful. Or has the alcohol numbed the pain sensors? Very nasty - and deeply unattractive.

I agree Angel. My dear Dad from Edinburgh had a similar nose and he liked a little sip sip sip now and then.

Those in the south will never understand. I think it's jealousy.

certainly not something you would hear in Australia

mind you..as I pick my way home at night over the congealed vomit and the drunken British backpackers itching for a fight in Kings Cross,I do wonder where it all went wrong.

Noticed something over the past few years..Irish drunks are much happier.
