on the bird table with a small bowl of water; they are only small so I tore a slice into tiny crumbs. And this morning at 6am; collecting my morning papers from the step; sitting on the table enjoying the Hovis was a very large, beautifully groomed squirrel.
"Aren't you frightened of me?" I asked.
"Not at all", he answered, continuing to nibble his bread. "Anyway I'm a Sun reader. Enjoy your paper".
So I closed the door and returned to my morning coffee.
