Funny, isn't it, how people get bogged-down with past decisions and refuse to realise (or publicly admit) that they have made an almighty mistake?

Decisions made 100 years ago - have caused untold misery - all because someone refused to look at it again, and admit fault.

Remember when Maggie said she would "never deal with terrorists" - yet only a few years later she was sending (secretly) Deputy PM Willie Whitelaw to open talks with the IRA?

How long before someone admits the awful mistake made when America rushed to recognise the "state of Israel" (they were recognised 20 mins after the declaration - so clearly alot of thought went into that - NOT !)?

The untold misery of the entire Middle East - plus destabilisation of the entire world, rests soley on that ill-thought-through and disasterous decision.

How long more before they say "sorry" and make ammends ?

Good to see that President Obama thinks as I do.

Andrew Marr's interview with Obama tomorrow will be interesting - as it was recorded BEFORE Obama met Netanyahu (who has tried to damage the peace process - yet again !).
