More Independent/Rob Sharp publicity 12 Years, 11 Months ago
www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment...oisette-2287164.html

And my letter to Simon Kelner, Editor of the Moon - oops - Independent...

Dear Simon; I see, yet again, Rob Sharp is describing me as "disgraced".
Not in my eyes - not in the eyes of my friends - not in the eyes of the lawyers pursuing my appeal for wrongful conviction.
Of course, in Mail world (which the paper now inhabits), someone convicted is forever damned unless he or she can prove his or her innocence. Indeed, poor Ken Clarke gets monstered by the media for daring to suggest there are degrees of rape - let alone very rare miscarriages of justice.
I do understand the desire to avoid mentioning my name and offending so many gullible readers. Even though - were I Editor (God forbid - of a paper once considering JSP worthy of such a role) - I would consider inclusion to be based on merit, few these days have the brain or balls to dare do so.
But I am not "disgraced". I'm doing fine, thank you - to the chagrin of many.

Is it the Independent that has a murderer writing for it ?

Does his by-line carry the term: Convicted Murderer ?

Rob Sharp is just showing himself up by using 'disgraced' and the Independent really is bringing itself to gutter levels by allowing such a personal opinionated description to be used.

No-where does Sharp mention how Woody Allen married his adopted daughter- a scandal that swept the world and made JK's episode a blip on the radar by comparison.

But as a Indie reader pointed out-Woody Allen was the darling of Cannes this year and no hack was going to be seen criticising him while the circus was in town.

But next year when it's safe- Sharp will probably having a go at Woody Allen. What a dill.
