I'm sorry to go on about LIbya 12 Years, 12 Months ago
but when the first thing the inhabitants of Tripoli do after a lethal NATO bombing spree (our tax monies paying to murder innocent Arabs) is take to the streets on behalf of Gaddafi, I cannot believe they are all paid or intimidated into doing so. Some Libyans love him; others hate him; we should not be siding with one faction above the other.

What is your evidence, JK, for supposing that those in Tripoli (and thus under the scrutiny of the ousted regime) are "supporting" Gaddafi voluntarily - rather than being coerced to do so?

Every other part of the country has fought tooth and nail to rid themselves of him (at great personal cost).

Why the increasingly isolated (and desperate) Gaddafi has no option but to fight on (even though hes lost most of his country, his oil, his international support, and all his finances have been frozen) -

Hosni Mubarak to be tried for murder -

I would say that the evidence for Gaddafi having willing supporters is in the fact that, out of all the regions in Libya, only a few are opposing him, and they have no chance without the backing of NATO.
Where is the evidence that Gaddafi has no support, bearing in mind that he is still in office in spite the power of NATO.

Libya demonstrates how perverted the West now is after we executed Germans for the same crimes.

We supply one side with vicious weapons and then when they use them against their own people we bomb them and kill their kids.

Still "in office" ?
The entire world now accepts that he has to go ... (good to see that the Yanks have agreed to the new Government opening an office in Washington - an "Embassy" in all but name !).

How many Ministers have deserted? How much of the Army?
All his finances are frozen ... he does NOT control the oil anymore (and arrangements have been made to sell it via Qatar and channel the money to the new Gov).

If this is "in office" I wouldn't like to see him when he's losing LOL.

NATO has (obviously) been hampered by him hiding amongst his people and using them as human shields - this has seriously limited targeting.

... and now we are going to execute Mubarak for killing his own people, and then Gaddafi (for the same crime) - with Assad next?

How does that make the West "perverted"?
All rather consistent if you ask me.

I think Gaddafi has thousands of genuine supporters in Libya. They may be foolish and he may be a vicious dictator (I don't know the truth and I certainly don't trust the media) but I'm sure the country is split and I simply do not believe we should be interfering.

How long before every leader in the world is a patsy, and every citizen in the world knows they have to pull their pants down, splay their buttocks and let America and its subserviant "allies" shaft them?

Should we have interfered in Germany in the 1940's, JK ?

In Germany in the 1940's there was one mad man who wanted to rule the world, but one tin pot dictator with no power outside of his own country. Rather different!

BOTH were carrying out executions of their own people who would not kow-tow.

Yet another war criminal has been captured today (again someone who had no power outside his own country) - thank God the world doesn't think like you do.

The problem with you ITK is you get your world view from the Sun!

Ever been to Bosnia or indeed eastern europe? the vast majority there think very differently.

Well .. Ratko Mladic was a Serbian who was working outside his own country (in Bosnia), so that doesn't really apply.

And where´s your evidence to refute these clims?
The western media is hardly an unbiased place to form opinions. And over here in asia Gadfaffi is becoming a cult hero for sticking up against the western imperialist bullies.

With all the resources at the west´s disposal it´s hardly a surprise they have people leaving. In fact given the one sided and unfair aid it´s only surprising he´s still there.
It hardly makes the matter fair, but it does make him a hero in many parts, try reading some foreign press rather than the biased rubbish meejah in the UK.

the oil minister has fled to the other side..it's pretty obvious that Ghadaffi's days are numbered.

why did we prop him up though ?..selling him ghastly weapons to kill his people with.

we are as responsible as he is.
