Re:I'm sorry to go on about LIbya 12 Years, 11 Months ago
But Gaddafi is still there - despite the entire rest of the world bombing and demonising him; and a large chunk of LIbyans wanting him out. Which a) fills me with grudging admiration but b) says to me - when a hefty chunk of Libyans DO want him to stay, when many friends who know the area say Libya is a pretty good place to live - why are we so obsessed with getting him out when there are FAR worse tyrants breaching human rights?

The answer is - of course - oil and... "it's a good story".

the oil minister has fled to the other side..it's pretty obvious that Ghadaffi's days are numbered.

The bunker busters are on their way !!!

Meanwhile that other stalwart of democracy, the Yemeni President (Salah) has had an assassination attempt on him - www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-13638787

The Syrians are killing children (and mutilating their genitals) - such nice allies !

The world will look very different in a few months time.

Such a shame that we had to play fair, isnt it angel?

Not to worry ... not long to wait now. (The cells at the ICC are rather nice - but he'll feel the cold !)

BBC News - Thousands of people in Yemen are celebrating the departure of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to Saudi Arabia.

He left on Saturday to be treated for injuries he received in an attack on his presidential compound on Friday.

Many celebrated in the capital, Sanaa's University Square; others were on the streets chanting and waving flags.
