TOPIC: Titchmarsh night on TV
#70680
Titchmarsh night on TV 12 Years, 11 Months ago
I rate Prince Philip very highly (he and his daughter share a delicious grumpiness and I love them both). 90 and still going strong like a 70 year old. And I know I say it every time but wasn't he a dishy teenager? So was Elizabeth incidentally.

Titchmarsh, on the other hand, is about as appealing as a bout of thrush.

I'm sorry to disagree but I've liked Alan since he interviewed me on Pebble Mill years ago; I like him and admire him.

Isn't Prince Philip great? You get the impression he really doesn't suffer fools, but his grumpy yet humorous approach to life, and his determination to keep active, has certainly stood him in good stead over the years.

He struck me as delightfully politically incorrect and great fun to be around.

Alan Titchmarsh also strikes me as a good egg.

I've always thought of myself as a Republican Conservative - if we can't privatise the royal family, then disband it!

Alan 'I'm from Yorkshire, me' Titchmarsh is a gardener who thinks he's an interviewer. Ever since he went on Pebble Mill wearing bright pastel jackets, he's been living a delusion. Alan Partridge must have been modelled on the silly man.
