TOPIC: I love cucumbers...

I love cucumbers... 12 Years, 11 Months ago  
and don't like the idea of E Coli flavoured ones at all.
Especially in summer, cucumbers are essential, subtle and tasty.
Plus they are a very good excuse to dip them into salt. Since my ideal meal is salt lightly sprinkled with food, that's great!

people here think I'm 'eccentric' because I serve cucumber sandwiches. With crusts cut off of course.

it's surprising how many people I turn on to them !..my mother adored them

I only eat them at my mother's posh do's, but I do like them.

Glad to hear you are keeping the English standards up, veritas .... now if only you could also get those people to drink out of (cut) glasses instead of tinnies ....

absolutely !

tinnned drinks are never allowed in my apartment. I only use glass...I drink straight from the bottle..

.. when I get home to my bijou Kings Cross flat after picking my way through the piles of vomit courtesy of the drunken ( Irish, English and German) backpackers.
