Man's incredible achievements 12 Years, 11 Months ago  
Endeavour completes its last mission - after 122 million miles !

Isn't the human race extraordinary (when it wants to be) but completely morose (most of the time) ?

If only time and effort were put into irrigation on earth, medicine, education, and above all else freedom .... what a place this could be.

the Space race is reputed to have returned to the USA approx $128 in profit for ever $1 spent.

so many things came from it..including mobile phones.

and with any luck when we get to Mars we might find some brilliant inventions our ancestors left behind.
