If he'd used propecia or regaine, more than likely he wouldn't have to go through such a treatment, as they stop hair loss in 9/10 cases.

Nonsense. They slow down the rate of hairloss and once you stop the treatment, the hair you retained falls out. Hate to rain on your parade but there is no cure for baldness. why are there so many slap heads?

I worked for a month on a music project with Frankie Howerd which was like meeting God.
.. he had a habit in the studio of lifting his toupee and scratching underneath.

It has become increasingly obvious that Wayne is the long forgotten bastard child of Elton John.

Actually my friend, its not nonsense, propecia does stop further hair-loss in 9/10 cases, I don't say that it is a cure. I know that if you stop using it then the hair will full out again. However the work around to this is to not stop using it. It takes all of 30 seconds to take a propecia pill.

The reason why there are so many slapheads is because either they're not bothered, they are unaware of the above 2 steps, they have been bald for decades, long before the introduction of the above 2 treatments, or they are in the 1/10 people for whom the above treatments haven't worked for.

With follicular unit transplantation (the treatment Rooney had), it isn't going to stop any of the non-transplanted hairs falling out, so the new hair from the back of the head will remain with the old hairs continuing to fall out.
