One of the enormous advantages of getting old... 12 Years, 10 Months ago  
is that you become allowed to take the most massive chunk of your private pension TAX FREE so you can make new films, print up new books, keep websites thriving and plague the system with appeals and protests for decades - let alone centuries. Now I'm 66...

yes and as you know you are on the home stretch you just don't give a f*ck about anything so take pleasure in abusing politicians to their face and so on.

Only the truly decent contribute to others (like Bill Gates) and combine that with doing it privately and anonymously (like Bruce Springsteen).

when you finally become obscenely rich in America the final thing you do is become a philanphropist and it's something the Yanks take seriously and do very well...far better than the rich of any other country,

Not sure it will last though.

well, I reckon you've just let the cat of the bag there, regarding what Bruce Sprinsteen gets up to in private...and what about you too Kenneth? Do you buy the Big Issue and/or make regular donations to Stoke Mandeville???
