Enough to make anyone commit suicide I would have thought.
(Before you ask - "Festival chief Michael Eavis initially said he had been told the death was a "suicide situation" but a police source later said it was not thought Mr Shale had killed himself". from news.sky.com/skynews/Home/UK-News/Glasto...hales_Cause_Of_Death

Maybe because he was the King - highly talented, versatile and the most successful musical artist of all time?
On what basis ?
Because he never wrote any songs but had his name on them (otherwise he wouldn't record them)?
On the basis of the number of dire films he made?
Or simply because he had very little competition?
Let's be honest ... Elvis "died" in 1957, didn't he?
George Formby was the biggest box office attraction in the UK for 5 years (believe it or not !). No (real) competition see.
Die young and leave a good looking corpse, unfortunately neither Elvis or this chap did either.
Elvis was the first rock n roller 2 break into the big time, and of course had a wonderful voice, but as said above he played on that fact for the next 30 years.
Toilet humor, simply a different way of taking the p!ss
