Nor me. After putting a camera in the hospital toilet of Freddy Mercury (Brian May, yesterday) - when he was dying - the writing was on the wall. The only good thing was 'stinging' those who deserved it.

I'll buy it. Then take it back for a refund as it has a misleading title. "News..."

is this true ? (any links?)

I think the Sun on Sunday or whatever it's called is a risky venture.

The other tabloids with history will scramble to fill the void.

A new title needs at least a year to get off the ground and it will need to be re-branded quite differently to the NoTW.

Once a habit is broken most people don't return. Murdoch should have sold the NoTW.

Nope, and anybody who bought it regularly in the past is a child abuser.

The May comment was made on Radio5 on Friday.

Sell the NoTW? Who woulld buy it bearing in mind the bagage it has - as well as the forthcoming law suits?

True, and also let us not forget the printed word is falling out of favor, being replaced by electronic delivery.

"TO mark the News Of The World's 168-year history we are offering readers a free souvenir copy of the paper's very first edition - published on Sunday October 1, 1843, along with a copy of today's final edition.

Both newspapers will come wrapped together in a protective bag for you to keep as a record of Britain's biggest-selling Sunday newspaper."

Free News Of The World Souvenir Edition

Link worked five minutes ago, but not at the moment. Maybe Murdoch has run out of money ...
