you won't read in the Oz newspapers (all News Ltd owned)but it's being mentioned in the US. There are now calls for the Murdoch empire to be investigated in Australia.

In September 2010 Murdoch's personal baby The Australian newspaper said in an ill-advised editorial :

"We wear Senator Brown’s criticism with pride. We believe he and his Green colleagues are hypocrites; that they are bad for the nation; and that they should be destroyed at the ballot box. The Greens voted against Mr Rudd’s emissions trading scheme because they wanted a tougher regime, then used the lack of action on climate change to damage Labor at the election. Their flakey economics should have no place in the national debate."

Bob Brown's Greens have just taken the balance of power for the next 6 years in the Upper house which means no legislation gets past them.

Most News Ltd journalists work on all the News Corp titles at different times. It's almost impossible to believe practices on the NoTW were not imported.
