£6 million raised on the very first day of the East Africa appeal.
Even in times of so-called austerity, the British come up with the goods. What a magnificent, generous, concerned people we are !
Make you proud .....

So purely out of interest does this notable achievement mean we don't need the badly used 'foreign aid budget' our caring coalition has increased(while cutting hospitals etc)?
Could it be we can rely on our own citizens to make their own donations as they see fit?
Your thoughts on this matter awaited with interest.

Yes I do remember her purring with pride about the aid budget going up,but don't worry, who needs libraries, hospitals and schools, when we can invest our money wisely supporting nuclear powers like India? Oh and don't forget how wisely we invested 250 million killing young kids in Libya
Will I see you up the Thai later on? We're all going down later.

We are NOT cutting hospitals - do try to keep to the facts !
These people are suffering, as you (and I) could never imagine, and all you can do is "balance" this generosity with a measly penny or so being taken from your handouts.
If any "cuts" which affect you (and let's NOT forget who to blame for these cuts - loony Labour !) were multiplied one hundred-fold you would still be miles better off.
So the health service are not having to make any cuts?
Oh and it's only costing each tax payer a penny or so?
Please post real evidence to back up these claims, because if u can't...
