Absolutely fascinating latest News Int revelations... 12 Years, 10 Months ago
Murdoch pulls his bid and changes it so the Competition Commission gets it direct. Sunday Times dragged into it - did they buy the Royal Family numbers? Did they try to get private info on Gordon Brown illegally? Scotland Yard issues extraordinary denial before checking it out. Police look like headless chickens. News Int looks like a (red) headless chicken. Government panics. JK predicts other papers will shortly get into very hot water (look to Derry Street). JK predicts Max is not going to escape examination. Max boasts he keeps stories out of papers. What does he give them in return? Will Police look at Max's accounts? Miliband slags off Hunt and Cameron. Nobody comes out of this well. Quite extraordinary - and gives great motivation for observers to watch Vile Pervert: The Musical and Me Me Me.

And watching The House of Commons school children howling and booing, I've decided that hacks, cops and judges may all be ghastly but none are worse than politicians.

Bloody media; it now seems the e-mail said an anonymous Royal Security officer wanted £1000 for the Green Book - which could be bollocks, was not agreed to or paid or obtained.... like everything else - headline story not necessarily anything like the truth.

especially when they were lying at the feet of RM just a month ago begging to be allowed to lick his boots !

no paper has really picked up what that tale should have resulted in at the time..a story! (ie-what a great headline story.,.Royal Cop Sells Queen's Secrets!)

If my contact is right-the reason Mizz Brooks said 'worse to come' is that the Queen's phone was hacked. But would HRH have a mobile ?

So nothing different from record/film/book promotion then. I'm sure everyone on here that has been associated with marketing/promotion has taken liberties with intrepretation of facts when putiing together a press release.
