If this rumour is true, no wonder Rebekah is scared; have police uncovered proof that the NOTW paid police officers in Vietnam or Cambodia? Let's face it; this could bring down News Int in America as it's against US law. A name I'm hearing is Andrew Drummond. Have you heard of him Veritas?

I have indeed. Drummond boasts of his associations with NoTW and of his hand in GG and so on.

I have no idea of what his day to day involvments are..he's a sort of fairly big stringer for many tabloids.

I do know he tangled with someone in the so-called 'gay mafia' in Pattaya and was sued for libel which is quite a serious matter in Thailand as it can result in a prison sentence. He eventually won that on appeal.

At the same time he has investigated a fairly awful case of a Brit involved in a nightclub there who was busted at the airport with hundreds of 'yabba ' pills (speed) who is currently in jail.

This was accepted by the local ex-pats, but not proved, as a set-up and the man is in jail.

What I don't like about Drummond is his typical tabloid mentality..GG is as guilty as hell as are all other foreigners busted yet he knows this guy was most likely set-up by the Thai police in the hopes of a bribe..a very common occurrence.

His website has completely changed from the past few weeks and he's playing down his involvement in NoTW. Gone is all his boasting of the work he did for NoTW hunting GG..although he still has his GG stuff there.

What a scream.

Drummond is the guy to go to in Thailand as he has lived there for so long he does have contacts but he walks a fine line.

He perpetuates the usual stuff about evil western pedos flocking to Asia and fiddling with kids but not a word..not a peep about the Asian gangs who run the entire trade.

In fact not one single word about the Asian child sex trade that is exclusively for Asians only and far outstrips and western involvment.

And for good reason...2 blokes on a motorcycle will pump bullets into anyone's head for 50 pounds in Bangkok.

what a hoot...the NoTW banner proudly displayed at the top of Andrew's blog seems to have disappeared.

I guess it won't look to good on the CV in the future..'ex NoTW journalist'.
