suggestive poses

A ten year old girl poses in French vogue in full make-up. I don't think that it is a good idea to sexualise children in this way, it just looks rather odd.
Is it child porn? hardly since she is fully clothed, but it will surely get the paedo-hysteria obsessives riled.

Think it says more about the minds of people that they see the evils of sex in too many things.

I found the pic's rather creepy and inappropriate. Doesn't sit well with me and not sure if it's sending out the right message. Is this sexualising children? Kids do love to dress up and play with make up yes, but do we need to see it in a fashion mag's front cover? Not so sure.

true..they do love to dress up as adults. My ex-wife had some lovely pics of her as Madame Pompadour at age 10 and she went onto be just like her !

little bit on the creepy side. I'm not sure who these pics are meant to appeal to..adults ??..or kids ??..but what kids read Vogue

I'm with Gemini on this - it says more about those offended than anything else.

What does sexualized mean? That highheels and lipstick makes someone sexy? So if we put high heels and lipstick on a pig does it sexualize the animal? I don't understand. How can you sexualize something if it is not already sexual to begin with?

Lipstick and high heels does not make someone or something sexy, it only draws attention to certain features on the body. It cannot make something that is not already attractive, attractive.

So are they admitting that kids are attractive?

But this reminds me of that joke about the guy you goes to see the psychiatrist.

The shrink shows the guy an inkblot and says, "What does this look like?" And the guy says, "That's a hot, wet pussy!" The shrink takes out another inkblot and says, "What's this?" and the guy says, "That's a hard throbbing dick!" The shrink pulls out yet a third inkblot and says, "What do you see here?" and the guy says, "That's a woman screwing two goats."

"Hmmm," says the shrink, "I think you have a sexual obsession."

"What do you mean, doc?" says the guy. "You're the one with all the dirty pictures!"

I like to think high heels and lipstick make me look sexy.

Others say I still look like a pig.
