www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-14414883 I find this quite incredible that this guy was sent to jail at all. The world has gone mad. Charlie Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy would have had life sentences under British law. Best not mention the Keystone Cops... Charlie Chaplin fictional?

..true , his characters may have been fictional but Chaplin had his US residency revoked because he was considered a Communist and his characters and films to be subversive.

ITK would have called him a 'scrounger' !
