TOPIC: Where's Pru?
#73262
Where's Pru? 12 Years, 9 Months ago
I've noticed Prnella Minge has gone quiet. I hope it's because she's on holiday, and not left this messageboard.

Where are you Pru?

There were words exchanged. A real shame, because Pru was always an absolute fountain of humour, and possessed some very real wisdom I hope to see a return at some time.

Did she same something that the local cabal didn't agree with (or understand) ?

Come back Pru - Independent thought is always needed.

I don't understand "Did she same". Is that some weird Derbyshire dialect?

What is all this talk of "local cabal"? Do you mean "most of the other posters here because they don't agree with me?"
It's a mark of an alienated personality to feel that "cabals" are at work actively working against particular posters. Maybe counseling might be of some use to you.

"Independent thought is always needed" is rich coming from you. But, just for a change, I actually agree with the broad thrust of the sentiment. Which isn't something that happens very often.

Unlike some others you can search all her posts,as she actually registered a handle, and used it.

You could of course spell it right

Prunella Minge

Think she got a bit annoyed with a few posters on here, shame because it seems a variety of posters enjoyed her boarding here...me included!

She's back - See John Howard Davies thread. Apologies to Pru re spelling of Prunella, it, I'm sure most posters will appreciate, was a typo, and not me not knowing how to spell her name.

How kind, and much appreciated. I did get tired of what I saw as deliberate and quite pointless provocations (which, tellingly, disappeared immediately when I tried posting under other names). But hopefully the two gadflies have now been swatted.

possibly me to blame...out of the blue she was personally rude to me -quite bizzarely I thought, so I told her to fuck off although I meant in a- she and me -sense..not the board.

perhaps she got the hump but who knows ?. These internet boards can sometimes get out of hand ( what with annonymity) and it's why I like to keep on subject rather than attack the poster.

That's why I'm always very nice to In The Know even though he/she is invariably wrong and I think may be Kelvin McKenzie.

Veritas, a good post. Even when posters feel disrespected it remains a worthy skill to keep above it.

I consider my "every now and then" contributions to have merit. I am a registered user but my security settings log me out and to be honest it's easier to simply post free-style
