Looks like they have dropped the prosecution. Can this be the turning point where greedy, crooked liars try to get money by making false allegations? We both have experience of this,and in my view until you punish accusers for any sign of lying then there is absolutely no incentive for these pieces of sh!te to stop.
Your average person in the street has no interest in changing the status quo,due in total to lack of knowledge of the truth.

Strauss-Kahn looks set to re-enter the race for the French presidency, tho how much this will have damaged him .....

He already had a reputation as a womaniser, and recent 'events' true or false might make it difficult for him to emerge unscathed. He still has to win the Socialist nomination.

I doubt a reputation as a "womaniser" is a minus in France.

If he's nominated- and I'd be surprised if he wasn't..the French love to cock a snoot at the USA (remember the appalling insults hurled at them at the beginning of the illegal Iraq invasion?}

He'd be a shoo-in.
