I have no idea if Ranzten is telling the truth but she is now revealing this in order to profit from a book and that is pretty tawdry.

I can't quite see the relevance Angel. Does one have to sire kids to care about kids? I have no kids (thank God) but still care about them enough not to want any of their lives to be wrecked by false allegations - or abuse of any other kind.

considering 90% of all abuse cases happens within the family (even Esthers !) being a parent (which I am) is not necesarily an automatic entree to sainthood.

Why are there so many here showing real venom towards Esther Rantzen? I suppose it must have something to do with Childline. I have no facts or figures on those who have been falsely accused because of its existence but, by and large it has been the only form of help that some children have in dealing with many types of abuse. Being a parent changes your whole perspective on everything. When you care for your own child from the moment its born you see thing differently. So what if she's punting a book?

People with kids also think Rantzen is an arsehole.

On a more serious note, who remembers these?
