It was a very odd episode I agree, the first one in many years that left me feeling a little 'cold'. Hated the cod Star Trek ending to it as well. You got the impression that it had the best intentions in the world but failed to deliver. Some lovely direction and camerawork though.
Next weeks looks a lot better.

It was a bit like The Shining, and made as much sense, but I enjoyed it. Also, I hope this really is the last we see of Amy Pond. She was getting annoying.
