when trying to pretend he knew the names of those Scottish Labour candidates... pure horrified terror - at least we shall all know whenever he's lying!

When he was interviewed on radio 4, the interviewer said that the word that comes out of focus groups all the time about Ed Milliband is "weird". What a strange thing to say to someone's face.

personally I think Ed Milliband comes across as a decent chap as politicians go.

I quite liked him when he first won the leadership but I've been deeply unimpressed ever since. He's startlingly opportunistic whilst posing as principled - yes, hardly bad news as far as party politics is concerned, but still not remotely admirable - and he seems oddly devoid of any real ideas. If you're going to adopt the condescending manner he's adopted in PMQs, then you'd better back it up with a formidable intellect, and I'm afraid he hasn't.
