It seems to pop up and down in the Amazon chart; from 1 to 2, then back up to 1, then down to 3, up to 2... but it's a great way to get the book and I gather there's now a Kindle App for computers - which, of course, includes all the colour picture sections.

It seems to be No4 today - I was asked why it's suddenly selling so well; I think it's because we ran out of hardback copies some time ago and recently a large amount of people have asked me when we're putting out a paperback - I've answered that, instead of a paperback, we're going E-Book and that coincided with the launch of the colour Fire Kindle which carries all the colour photo sections.

I'm told also that you can get a Kindle App for computers and mobile phones and many have been buying it for tablets etc.

It went down to 8 then back up to 7 and now it's 6... selling very well though. We've just dropped the price for the E Book - buy it now!

I tried a Kindle but didn't like it...the app not the book. I prefer to hold a hardback in my hands (no pun intended)...smell the pages...caress the spine.

Books have to be burnt...kindle stuff can simply be deleted. Not good. If the powers that be want to destroy history, I want to see bonfires on the streets...books are an investment and to be cherished. You can make love to a book...I could never love a Kindle.

I am no fan of big movie producers, record producers or publishers, (sorry JK) but tools such as Kindle are destroying our artists, actors, authors and producers.
Take 'Fledgling Jason Steed', the young adult novel, it holds the record for being the highest illegal downloaded book, (And downloaded by tweens) I wonder if the author Mark A. Cooper thinks it's a good record, when all his hard work gets read for not only free but little recognition.
Or the thousands of recording artists, who have their music down loaded without collecting a royalty.
I'm all for science and modern gadgets like Kindle, but is it hurting people in the long run?

I don't think the point you make Peter is in the right forum. I agree music pirates are liiking live musicians and artists. Most can omly make it by being on X-Factor.

Kindle and other products are here to stay, yes I feel sorry for the authors like Mark A. Cooper who has his work stolen, or any recording artist come to that. But what happens when one of these artists are picked up from Youtube like Bieber or if this guys book becomes a major movie? I expect then he will be happy.

At some point their must be better protection for artists, producers and writers, else what is the point of copyright? We can't blame Kindle, Amazon would rather sell an e-book than have it down loaded illegally and shared by thousnads of spotty faced teens across the world for free.

It's up to the music producers/ Record labels, book publishers and video producers to come up with a better security measure.

When you travel, the hardback is not practical.

Reading 4/5 books a week (as I do, with travel) - I bow to the eBook.

But, however you do it, reading itself is life itself! Written by those with better minds than us!

Dickens, O'Casey, Chaucer, Freud........even JK

Like Fats, I also love the hold of a real book..they become like a good friend on holiday especially but I think I may love the idea of 50 books on my Kindle...especially as my attention span is becoming increasingly shorter by the year and I read a few chapters and then go to a new book..and also I..oh I've forgotten what I was going to say

And thanks to BBC Director General Mark Thompson the book has leaped back up to No3!

Quite interesting; although it's slipped to No7 it's in company with biographies of Jim Morrison, John Lennon, Nikki Sixx, Michael Jackson and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook fame. Not bad company.

It would be good to make a few copies available on Amazon Vine - you get guaranteed reviews that way.
