School Lunch 12 Years, 6 Months ago  
A while ago the subject of soggy cabbage came up, so I thought I'd share what I just had today.

Green pea soup
Grilled bacon steak with pineapple glazed in sugar syrup, roast potatoes & petit pois.
Queen of puddings with whipped cream.

It was quite nice !!

I think we have cabbage tomorrow.

Sounds much nicer than what we got at Charterhouse in the good old late 50s/early 60s!

It was Roast Beef today, with steamed cabbage and roast potatoes. Then apricot glazed bread & butter pudding with vanilla custard. Good old British Grub.

The menu sounds very like our Junior school dayre in the 70s,the difference may well be in the preperation though.
