Reggie once had to read out a news story about how firemen had rescued an elderly lady's cat from a tree, only to then run over it with their own truck. Reggie got the giggles half way through, thus offending Daily Mail types but hugely amusing everyone else. He also endeared himself to me by devoting a part of his autobiography to the details relating to the maintanence of his wig - now that's a rarity among celebs.
