Er, my comment was directed at Pattaya. Keep up. What Has other posters involvement in false allegations got to do with anything? Please refrain from telling me how to post my opinions. Its really none of your business.
Glad to know I have decent friends on here.
Funny how you keep telling others to mind their own business, but you butt in willy nilly.
Now answer this please,LO found a good example of you contradicting yourself on matters of this type, yet you ignored it,didn't comment at all...why?
If you want people to refrain from posting negative comments about ITK then the only way that will happen is by dealing with the cause, not the effect.Till then you may continue to be the butt of others indignation.
Have a good day

ITK I agree that it has to be a good thing that a mass-murdering tyrant has gone. You mentioned Blair and Brown- you are of course right, but I'm pretty convinced that Cameron would also have continued to support Ghadaffi if the worm hadn't turned. Don't you think so?
Yes, david, I do.
Thank you for raising the subject ... I would also like to know why our former leader, the Great B-Liar, has made SIX trips to see Gaddafi since he (B-Liar) left office in 2007. Apparently 2 of those trips were in private jets (ah, he does like his private jets, doesn't he?) paid for by the Gaddafi regime.
What kind of "deal" are we not being told about ?
Does it have anything to do with why Moussa Koussa was allowed to slip into Britain (when he knew the game was over in Libya) and then slip quietly out again ?
(According to Panorama - see tomorrow BBC 1 - he's now living in 5-star luxury in Qatar).
And let's not forget that Cameron and his like are, as we speak, actively supporting regimes that are equally as brutal as Ghadaffi's, and we do so because it is in our 'interest' to do so, either strategically or because they have oil.
One at a time, david !
One at a time !
Would you agree that Cameron and Sarkozy did not act out of purely humanitarian intent?
I doubt that ANY politician ever has acted entirely out of humanitarian intent ... but whatever the reason I'm glad that we "stepped up to the mark" and stopped Gaddafi's 42 rein of terror.
You also (conveniently?) forget, that both Sarkosy and Cameron will have to answer for their actions - when they face voters (something that never seemed to bother Gaddafi) !
You say that the Libyan people's suffering has ended- let's hope so, but no one can know
I think we can ...
There may (and probably will) be troubles ahead ... but they will NOT be anywhere near as bad as the systematic torture and brutal murder Gaddafi inflicted on ANYONE who got in his way, surely?
I feel quite certain that other despotic tyrants dont sleep quite so easily in their beds since they saw what happened to Saddam, Gaddafi (and soon, hopefully) Assad !

This is a pathetic line of discussion and I wish it would stop.
ITK, you probably post here more than anyone else. At the very least you are extremely high up the list of most prolific contributors. If you have loads of friends I'd suggest that you spend more time here than most anyway.
Angel, thank you for addressing my post. I'd remind you, however, that you have been guilty yourself of what you are complaining about in others. Your reference to "winkers" was as infantile as anything else I've seen here. ITK, too, is culpable, or maybe you missed his suggestion that my parents were toilet attendants. We've all been guilty of uncalled for rudeness. To make fish of one and fowl of another is disingenuous.
I think it's time we all stopped it.

Prefer the hug to the buggering from Veritas!
My take is simple,I've watched ITK since the old board 6 years ago. He's a bully when things don't go his way.some like Angel see no harm in it,others like myself take offence and reply back.ITK never really got what makes this place tick,Angel did.Now the funny situation is that slowly ITK is learning.while Angel seems to forget.
So I would recommend Angel to try to judge the bigger picture before taking action. If ITK is being rude then try to be seen as neutral, not one sided, better still leave the modding to the boss,it'll all get sorted in the end.But hopefully ITK has learnt his lesson, and will try to be a positive contributor, not a point scorer in future.
Sermon over, back to work I go
