You think it was wrong to link to that site? Rather than, say, the Daily Mail?
While I can understand where you are coming from it's important to remember that while we think we live in a well-informed democracy the actualite is that unless we make ourselves aware of opinion - and how it is formed - in the areas most directly affected by any events we happen to be discussing - our knowledge is that much less complete than it might otherwise be.
It's not "relying" on anything. It's simply reporting what other people are thinking and saying. And it's probably worth noting. A world view can never be gained simply by observing in and from a position of national isolation.

Good to see we rely on RELIABLE and well-respected sites for our news and views !!!!!
I dont draw conclusions from that I read, but nor do I ignore the stories that don't fit with that way I think things should be.
A simpleglance at your Twitter posts (what a waste of time !) clearly shows what your agenda is .... and that why you welcome anything that supports it (no matter how obscure)

Well if you can figure any kind of agenda though my weird twitter posts then your mind is more strange than mind. Go and find something useful to do.

It's just ITK,he has to be reminded about his manners every so often

I wasn't quite as enthusiastic about the room you said was your favourite...little staid looking for me.
You mustn't mind In The Know. As we have now discovered -he is from the wrong side of our family, one considered for many years to be the 'black sheep' lot, ie : in that our side are terribly grand and his side were infiltrated by Polish Gypsies a few generations ago totally lowering the tone of a fine family history.

There is a clear pattern - esp on Libya - of total denial that the revolutionaries would win.
Thats why - your continued posting of obsure rubbish - just because it suits YOUR agenda - has to be questioned !
How is your little Libyan friend? (the one you said came to Britain and told you how the real Libyans felt ???) LOL !

It is perfectly reasonable to question someone's motives.
It is only fair to warn you that I will ignoring your (In The Know) posts in the future. Reasonable debate is one thing, but you seem to have developed some delusion bordering the bizarre. I have looked back though my twitter posts and have only found 4 mentions of Libya during the last 5 weeks. The rest are normal mundane, everyday tweets. I am clearly not the one with an agenda.
Thankfully the evidence is there for all to see. I have nothing to prove or defend. I certainly don't see the point in wasting my time arguing with some anonymous entity who never has to answer for their actions.

Well said Pumpkinhead. I just don't get why someone can be so incapable of having a reasonable debate without getting personal.
Never ever thought I would agree with Richard & Judy ... but their comments (in yesterdays MExpress) on the world's apathy as to how Gaddafi died are really spot-on !
